Must Remember

Recently I've really felt that I'm a student. ^^ We have lots of things to do, projects all with dues drawing near, homework and chapters to read. I've felt all the while nervous especially the time when we were about to present our system's progress and I felt terrible after it because the presentation erm... it wasn't so good. I have gotten weary of things and as a result I couldn't think straight. My mood has been slightly off, my friend told me I was having mood swings. LOL Gomenasai! Really... That comment was pretty helpful, because I was able to realize what I was doing after and realized how particularly awful that was.

Lesson Learned: Think Positive, Put your worries behind, Believe in yourself, Take things one step at a time

Stay away from Sweets!!

Hmm... I've realized that I have been eating too much sweet treats recently, brownies, chocolate cakes, other types of cakes and of course, our favorite Parfait from Okonomiyaki (They have good food... YUM YUM). So thinking about how often I take these deliciously sweet treats, I got particularly afraid of the consequences. Of course too much of something is not good. So, I've decided to stay away from sweets as much as possible. ^^ I've been telling myself that for two-three weeks now and still hmm... I'd say there's only slight improvement, or none--OK! I tried to make the words sound better, heehee... The truth is that I wasn't able to follow what I said about "No Sweets" you can't help it... So now I'm going to edit it a bit, now it's "no sweets as much as possible" And this day I haven't eaten any sweet food. YUPZ... ^^ hurray!!

What I ate:
I had no breakfast (because I woke up late... again)
I had something for lunch (I don't know what it's called) but no dessert
I had grilled porkchop from Syms for erm my merienda-dinner, refusing the temptation of ordering their choco alamode or spinner. our 1st class ends at 4:10 and resumes at 5:55-7:30, that's why we have to really eat our dinner early.

^^ See, I can do it if I try :D
So now I have to try to continue... :D HAHAHAHA!!!

A Stroll at People's Park

Earlier we had an early dismissal or rather we didn’t have a lecture on one of our classes so my friends and I decided to go to several places, namely Union Bank which is located near our school and the newly opened People’s Park. Three of us went ahead as one of our friends said she’ll catch up because she still had classes so as I have mentioned, we went ahead.. We only spent about three minutes inside Union Bank since the information we came to inquire is already on their website, as said by one of their personnel’s. So we decided to go to People’s Park. We got there at about 1:00pm and it was terribly hot, but it did not stop us from enjoying the scenery, although almost blinded by the bright sunlight, we noticed the beauty of the newly opened park. There were some unfinished sites but overall it was good. I cannot wait until they fully open with all the facilities already working. Back there, I felt like I was back to my high school or grade school years. There were so many people strolling around. We even managed to take pictures of ourselves with some statues, we made our wishes on the wishing pond or something (it’s definitely not a well), walked round and round until our feet spoke “tiredness” and sat on some benches with an umbrella covering our faces (hey, it’s hot). After a few moments, we got the idea of going out of the park and eating somewhere. We chose to buy our food from Chowking and I had the Spicy Chao fan which was obviously Spicy. I even had to order 2 iced teas, lol, my sillyness… hey I can’t help it, it’s delicious, just spicy, but delicious. Kristine caught up with us minutes later and ordered her own meal. Afterwards we headed back to the park which looked much much better. It seems like the heat was really getting to us earlier that we did not notice a lot of things. We strolled some more, took some more pictures and sat on some benches observing the park and the people around. We left early at about 5:00pm so I wasn’t able to see the park at night, which as I have heard have lots of lights on and is much much more pretty.

The People’s Park in my opinion is a very good place, it eases the mind, make you appreciate little things and make you realize that simple things can also be enjoyable. I just hope that everyone would help take care of it so its beauty can be preserved and more people can enjoy it.

Reviewing my posts

I haven't posted for quite a while now. I've checked out my older posts and just realized how much 'haha' words I have placed on them. Like there's an average of about three 'haha's' per post. I should change this little habit. It even annoyed me. LOL imaging reading text with lots of 'haha's' that doesn't really mean anything. Ok, I'll try to change this little habit of mine.
